High School Confidential: Prom and Graduation
This was the High School Confidential wrap up of the season. It touched on each of the girls and quickly reviewed how they had changed since starting high school and the challenges they had faced. It talked about prom as well as how they were getting ready for graduation and beyond.
Lauren was nominated for prom queen and although she didn’t win, she still felt like she had won the non-malignant brain tumor. Cate went to the prom with Andy – in a dress he said made her look like a fish, (it was green and sequined) and high heels that light up. Crystle, Beth, and Gina were going to go to the prom in a limo together, but Crystle told them too late and there wasn’t any room left, driving an even bigger rift between the three girls. Caitlin didn’t have a date, but went with girlfriends and it wasn’t quite as awkward as she thought it would be. Sara didn’t go – John was at boot camp, so she just sat at home. Courtney and John slept together the night of the prom, but then he decided to go to a different college to play baseball, so their future was uncertain. Cappie managed to pull her grades together and graduate with her class. Lauren B. realizes she sacrificed some social norms during her high school career to focus on college.
At the end of the show, we found out that Cappie and Courtney were going to the University of Kansas and both joined sororities, Sara is happily married and living in North Carolina, Cate is at the University of Kansas and still not speaking to Beth, Beth is going to a community college (what happened to her plans to room with Gina at college?) and lives with her mom on the farm, Crystle is going to the University of Kansas, still models, and is still with Tyler, Allyson is going to the University of Pittsburgh, Jessi got into acting school in Los Angeles, but left a week later to return home and now works at Wal-Mart, and Lauren is going to the University of Denver. They really didn’t tell us what happened to some of the girls like Kim, Gina, Sarah, or Caitlin.
