High School Musical: Get in the Picture: Briana and Christie Sent to the Chorus
The students were told they were going on a field trip – to Kmart – to sing for the customers. The only problem was they would be the only ones with any music. Their lesson was “letting go.” It was cute to see them all open up – James was riding a bike through the store, Briana was up on the countertop, even Ether opened up, which made Jen proud.
This week, there was the first budding of a possible romance between Shayna and Stan. Everyone noticed they were sitting together in the common room, ignoring the others. But when Shayna told Stan she had a boyfriend of 11 months, he changed the subject.
The students were divided into groups of three and would perform a song for the faculty. Anthony, Bailey, and Christie sang “There’s Always Someone Cooler than You.” Ether, James, and Shayna sang “The Remedy.” Briana, Christina, and TJ sang “The Man in the Mirror” and Isaiah, Stan, and Tierney sang “Unwritten.” I really like Tierney and apparently, the faculty did as well as she was named the student who applied the lesson the best. Bailey, who complained that she was afraid Anthony would bring her down, continues to get on my nerves.
Unfortunately for her, this meant she had to read the names of those still on the cast list. Two students would be going to the chorus. Those on the cast list were Stan, Bailey, TJ, Christina, James, Shayna, Isaiah, Ether, and Anthony. Montre felt that Christie oversold her song and Jen complained that Briana stayed behind her wall, so those two were sent to the chorus line.
