High School Musical: Get in the Picture: Shayna and Bailey go to the Chorus
Hum, let this be a lesson to you children – when you toot your own horn, you may be the only one listening. Shayna and Bailey have both made no qualms about their talent, with Shayna especially talking about herself tonight. She told Isaiah that she was an accomplished musician and she really didn’t expect to come to the campus and learn anything. Ouch, words that came back to bite her tonight. She and Anthony had it out because he told TJ and others that he didn’t think she was there for the right reasons. When Nick asked if anyone was not getting along, TJ (with Anthony’s permission) told him how Anthony felt about Shayna. And, Anthony backed it up. But when he tried to talk to her later in the common room, like Tierney said, it was “high school drama.”
The lesson tonight was to “roll with the punches.” The students had to sing the song “Get Your Head in the Game” in a mixture of English, Spanish, Turkish, and Hindi. It was funny – as expected there was a lot of gibberish, but everyone had fun. For their challenge, they had to perform for the first time as a group. I thought everyone did well, but Jen thought TJ really connected to the songs while Regina didn’t think Bailey gave 100%. Nor was Montre impressed with Shayna. Tierney was given the best performer award (again) – I think she is going to win. She is cute, yet humble and there is something, like Isaiah said, that is unique about her.
