High School Musical: Get in the Picture: Top 12 Get to Know Each Other
Finally at the High School Musical campus, the top 12 got to know each other. Rob had each one stand before the others and got their first impressions. Some were expected – like James was told he was laidback and intelligent. Stan was told he was a jock, popular, and handsome. But things got down and dirty a bit when Christie was standing up there and Isaiah said “dumb blonde.” Well, Rob told them to be honest! After that, a few gloves came off – Isaiah was labeled a “flirt,” “player,” and “ego.” Shayna called TJ a “mama’s boy” and Isaiah said Bailey was everything every girl in school hates on. But it was a bit sad when Bailey talked about never having close friends. There were a few possible romances – TJ said Tierney was beautiful and she said he was definitely her type. Hum…
The kids all got a great swag bag from Kmart that included a DVD player and camcorder among other things. They were surprised by it, but the biggest surprise of all was to come – they were going to visit the set of High School Musical 3!
The kids also go to meet director/choreographer of all three movies, Kenny Ortega. They didn’t know it, but when he suggested an impromptu jam session in the East High School cafeteria, he was actually checking them all out. Kenny will be the final judge of who wins the show.
Then, Kenny suggested that everyone come over to the set and be in the background of the movie as part of the Wildcat fan club. Everyone had a great time, but you could tell the competition part was on some of their minds. Right now, Bailey seems the most competitive, swearing she wants this more than anyone else.
