Holly Madison

Despite being a sexy model, Holly Madison and her partner Dmitry Chaplin have already been eliminated from this season’s “Dancing with the Stars.”

Holly was born in Astoria, Oregon on December 23, 1979. She spent much of her childhood growing up in Prince of Wales Island, Alaska due to her father’s job. She went to Portland State University for two years after high school, majoring in theatre and psychology.

Holly moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to attend Loyola Marymount University. To help pay her tuition, she took a modeling job with Hawaiian Tropic and worked at Hooters. In fact, Holly was named one of the top Hooters girls of all time for the restaurant’s 25th anniversary. She received many invitations to visit the Playboy Mansion and after a year of visiting, Holly was invited to move in to become one of Hugh Hefner’s seven live-in girlfriends in August 2001.

By February 2002, four of the girlfriends had left, leaving only Holly, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson, with Holly being the #1 girl. Holly shared a bedroom with Hefner while Bridget and Kendra had their own bedrooms down the hall. In 2003, Holly was featured as the Cyber Girl of the Week on the Playboy website. She appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine in November 2005 with Bridget and Kendra as a promotional piece for their reality series, “The Girls Next Door.” The three were featured again in the September 2006 and March 2008 issues. Holly served as a photo editor intern at Playboy studios after mentioning she would like to do that in season three of the show. She also helped design The Girls Next Door calendar for 2008. All three of the girls helped co-write the book “The Girls Next Door.”

Holly had previously stated that she wanted to marry Hefner and have children, but he said that, although he loved her very much, marriage wasn’t going to happen due in part to his bad luck in previous marriages. Holly announced in October 2008 that she and Hefner had split. “The Girls Next Door” will air for a sixth season, but Holly stopped working as an editor at Playboy because of the breakup. In November 2008, Holly began a romance with Criss Angel, but that relationship ended in February 2009.

In addition to “The Girls Next Door,” Holly has appeared on “Larry King Live,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “The Today Show,” “Chelsea Lately,” “The Tyra Banks Show,” “MTV Cribs,” “Celebrity Family Feud,” and “Last Call with Carson Daly.” She has been in the movies The House Bunny, The Telling, Scary Movie 4, and The Last Broadcast.

Holly loves animals and has written for The Coolest Little Pet Magazine. She has also appeared nude in PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” ads.
