Jerry, Jerry, Jerry
Well, tonight, the inevitable happened. We knew Mario was safe. Emmitt got Len’s first ten of the season, so I figured he was safe. Joey danced his butt off last week, so I figured it would bring him up from the bottom two – and it did.
It came down to Monique and Jerry. They were the dancers in the bottom three. I think Monique just does not have as big a following as the other contestants left on the show. But she made it through to another round as it was announced that Jerry was leaving. I thought he would be thrilled, but bless his heart, he choked up when he was talking. He received a standing ovation from the judges as the crowd chanted “Jerry, Jerry, Jerry.” It was so sweet that he was so touched. I think maybe Jerry has enjoyed this competition more than any of the others after his reaction tonight.
Next week is the Halloween Extravaganza (I can hardly wait!). They also set up the web site for the Tour dates, so check to see if Dancing with the Stars will be coming to a town near you!
