Joanna is Eliminated from Hell’s Kitchen
Tonight’s edition of Hell’s Kitchen opened up for the first time with the two teams cooking breakfast for the Army and Navy. The two teams challenge was to serve breakfast for the troops. The Red team cooked for the Army and the Blue team cooked for the Navy. The Red team simply kicked butt and then took over for the blue team to finish all of their orders. Chef Ramsey called the Red team – “Organized, On the ball and Fast” and singled out Julia as being “exceptional”, while not so kind words for the Blue team – “Disappointing, No Leader and simply a mess”. Of course our friend Aaron again did nothing to help out his team as he could not even cook eggs. The winners enjoyed a lunch on the USS Midway which happens to be the longest serving carrier in the Navy. The losers were assigned the task of peeling over a ton of potato and onions.
During the peeling party, our friend Aaron had an episode where he passed out and had to be taken to the hospital. Before the dinner service started Chef Ramsey had to notify Aaron that his doctor would not release him, forcing Chef Ramsey to eliminate him from the show. Can someone really tell me how he even got on the show? You have got to be joking that their wasn’t someone more qualified than him? It really made me wonder how serious this show is? You are choosing contestants that could potentially be running a restaurant. I can just see it now, Aaron burning the eggs and then passing out? I can only guess that he was there to keep the show interesting.
The dinner competition was seriously a disaster for both teams. Neither team could just get things together. Even with Brad being chosen as the leader for the Blue team, nothing went right. Speaking of nothing going right, does anyone know which restaurant Jen cooks at? I got to tell you that I do live close to Hazelton, PA where she is from and after watching her pick spaghetti out of the garbage and attempt to re-cook it I was having second thoughts about even going to a restaurant this week. On live television, how could she do that? If I was her employer I would be doing the Chef Ramsey and telling her to get the #@@#&& out of my restaurant. Ultimately, Chef Ramsey picked the Red team as the losers. This led me to another question on how serious the show is because the Blue team practically served nothing? I guess he had to even up the numbers to keep the show going. The losers picked Joanna and Julia to go in front of Chef Ramsey. Jen actually did fess up to what she did and also nominated herself. Personally, she was my pick, but Chef Ramsey felt that Joanna’s mistake of serving rancid food was the greater of the two evils.
