Josh and Jill Kicked off SuperNova
Wow, I did not expect SuperNova to kick both Josh and Jill off tonight. I was listening to Tommy talk about stepping it up and next thing I knew was both of them got kicked off. I really wasn’t shocked about either one of them getting kicked off the show this evening. After watching Jill’s performance of “Respect” by Aretha Franklin and Josh performing “Shooting Star” by the “Bad Company” (even after Tommy recommending that he don’t use the guitar last night) I was convinced that either of them could go. Gilbie Clarke commented that maybe the audience was trying to tell them something about Jill because she was in the bottom the last three times.
SuperNova chose Lukas and Magni for the encore acts this evening. Lukas gave a great performance by singing ”Creep” by “RadioHead”, but I have a feeling that he just doesn’t fit into the band. Magni who was the 2nd encore act once again gave an excellent performance of ”The Dolphins Cry” by “Live”.
When the show is all over, I am putting money on Magni ending up as the lead singer for the band. Besides having an excellant voice and a great stage presence, he just seems like the perfect fit for the band. The audience loves him and he will bring a lot of fans to SuperNova if he is involved.
