I agree with Kay. The Mormon faith is full of loving Christ-like people, but there tends to be a small minority who want to concentrate of one thing such as dress standards in which to judge another by. It is usually females unfortunately, and it is partly due to envy and partly about being judgemental and controlling. It is sad and I agree that it is not a good example of our faith. Julianne is a beautiful young woman and extremely talented and most of all seems very sweet. I wish her well.

I am an active Mormon and am tired of judgemental Mormon girls criticising Julianne. It is judgemental and un-Christ-like and it says more about you and your character than Julianne’s. It is people like you who put people off the church not Julianne. Please stop being small-minded – you say you want Julianne to be a role model and an example – I always thought that christ was our example. If you want to be an example of the faith, stop being judgemental.

Hi Julianne, I think your a great dancer and shouldn’t quite. I love to watch u dance but….I think it’s true u need to dress more appropriately.

I agree that Julianne should be wearing more modest clothing. It’s not just when she is on the show, off camera as well she is very immodest. She says all this talk about being “modest” & how her Mormon standards influence it. I cannot find one picture where she is actually dressed AT ALL. & you should really stop with the rude comments (above) Thank you!

I think Ella and Hadddi each need to get a life and stop being so envious and jealous. Mormons in general make great entertainers and when you are an entertainer costumes go hand in hand with the shows you’re in. It’s people like Ella and Hadddi, who are so concerned about what their peers wear (or don’t wear) that need to get their heads checked because a) they’re spending way too much time on the Internet when they should be praying more or setting examples for other girls as they so preach, and b) they need to ask themselves WHY they are really picking on Julianne.

Hadddi’s right. i’m a teenager myself. and julianne isn’t setting a good example. chill out, don’t be critical of the mormon belief. that’s none of your business. and i’m pretty sure over the internet, spell check isn’t needed.

Dear Hadddi,

Before you lecture people on what to wear, maybe you should learn how to spell the word “clothes.” Spend less time in the temple and more time in school. The word “close” refers to being near something or shutting a door – “close” is not something you wear.

Also dancing doesn’t have an “e” If you’re going to criticize someone, at least use spell check.

julianne , although you are a fabulous dancer and singer and you have the title of danceing with the stars best professional dancer , many people have heard you and know your from utah and you are mormon , many people and I cannot watch the show anymore because of all your immodesty , you are wearing tiny close not covering your body and its to innapropriate for anyone to watch unless you want more votes then please change the way you dress , there are many other festive costumes you could wear that are not tiny and skimpy that are like 10 times better , you are suppose to be a role model and example to girls and utah and mormon’s please change your appearence so more people could actually watch it
