Kandi Burruss to join the cast of the Real Houswives of Atlanta
I just read on the Entertainment Weekly web site that there will be a new housewife featured on the Bravo show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” when it returns to the air. Housewife DeShawn Show (wife of Cleveland Cavaliers player Eric Snow) has left the show. She will be replaced in the upcoming season by Kandi Burruss, a singer-songwriter from the 1990’s girl group Xscape.
Since the group Xscape broke up Burruss had a somewhat successful solo career but had more success in the songwriting arena, writing songs for TLC, Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Boys II Men, Alicia Keys and Faith Evans.
You can read more about Burruss’ arrival exclusively on the Entertainment Weekly web site (www.ew.com) by clicking here.
