Keep Racing!
The teams traveled from Madagascar to Helsinki for this leg of the show. Bama girls almost missed the flight but made it with 10 minutes to spare. Once in Helsinki, they had to take the train to another city, then a cab to a school. Rob and Kimberly asked to get a cab in front of all the people waiting while Lyn and Karlyn just jumped on in. The Cho Brothers waited politely in line for a cab. I like them best because they are so nice, but I hope it doesn’t cost them the game! Rob and Kimberly ended up at the wrong school, but quickly caught up.
The Detour was fun. It was Swamp This (cross country skiing through mud) or Swamp That (a muddy obstacle course). It was fun watching the Barbies try to stay clean. After the Detour, the teams had to get to Turku via train. Only the Barbies and Models manage to make it on the first train, giving them a big lead on the Cho Brothers, the Bama Girls, and Rob and Kimberly (who missed the train by only minutes). At Turku, the teams had to take a cab to a limestone mine in Lohja.
The Roadblock was one team member had to go deep into the mine on a bike, retrieve a piece of limestone containing the next clue, then get back up to the top and break open the stone to get the clue. The Models pulled out front, quickly followed by the Barbies. Rob and Kimberly, the Cho Brothers, and the Bama Girls just seemed to be stuck together the whole time. The clue was to find the Helsinki Olympic stadium. Once there, the teams had to go up to the top of the 236-foot tower and rappel face first. The Models made it, thinking they would finish in first, but at the bottom, they only found a clue that says “Keep Racing.”
The previews for next week did show the famous Six Pack alliance ending between the remaining Cho Brothers and Bama Girls.
