Kinnik and Will get the boot
Tonight it was narrowed down to the final twelve. America decided to give Kinnik her ticket home. Too bad, I thought she had talent, but had two bad performances in a row and that was just too much. It was cold how those leaving were told. Ryan played with those staying “America voted and you did…not receive the fewest votes.” Then when it came to Kinnik it was like “Kinnik you receive the fewest amount of votes.” It was more like “Don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out.” Was a bit surprised that it was Ayla, not Melissa that was leaving. I think Melissa is a better singer, but last week was lackluster to say the least.
As for the guys, Will leaving came as no surprise. I only liked him when he was singing 70’s songs anyhow (I think it was the Peter Brady haircut). But, Gedeon was a shock to me. I thought other guys deserved to leave more than him (namely Ace), but apparently America is more enthralled with looks than talent. And, how cold is it for American Idol to make those leaving sing the song that obviously sucked so much they didn’t receive enough votes to stay?
>From the Rumor Mill: I’ve heard that Fuel is looking to replace their lead singer and has contact Chris. Just a rumor for now, but if it turns out to be true, remember you read it here first!
