Last Comic Standing: Gerry Dee is Eliminated

I kinda felt it was coming, but it was heartbreaking when Gerry Dee went home tonight. He seems like such a nice guy, it was sad to see the tears. The first name called was Jon’s and honestly, Lavell looked like he was angry. I’m not sure what was up with that. Maybe he was worried Gerry would beat him.

Anyhow, Lavell’s name was called and he and Jon did one last performance. Was it just me or did Jon’s seem sorter? Maybe it is because some of his humor is physical – I don’t know. He did a bit about his dad snoring, which was funny. Lavell talked about ordering a 24 pieces of chicken, four sides, and a large drink from a fast food place and the cashier asking if he wanted it “for here or to go?” That was hilarious!

We also got to see Kathleen Madigan (her joke about Scooter and Moron cooking up meth in the shed without a GED between them cracked me up!), Gilbert Gottfried (who did a bit about Calista Flockhart being skinny and Harrison Ford causing the Amish to do crazy things), and Greg Proops (his joke about Barack Obama and “Notice how the rims keep spinning long after the leader of the free world has brought his vehicle to a halt” almost had me crying!).

I think Lavell will be the big (no pun intended) winner next week.
