Last Comic Standing: Matt and Doug are Eliminated
Okay, I am going to come out and say it – this show is ticking me off. I am not going to name name’s, but it seems to me that funny comedians are going home while some pretty unfunny people are staying. That being said, tonight was the last challenge – thank goodness. This one was pretty dumb – each comic had a minute with one of the Deal or No Deal girls to make them laugh. But, the producers threw in a twist – they substituted three of the girls with a drag queen, a nun, and a clown unbeknownst to the contestants. It really called for some pretty unfunny results. Amy ended up winning immunity, but I didn’t see anything she said that was just side splittingly funny. She was hurt that Ralph and Lavell didn’t congratulate her on her win.
So, she voted for Ralph in the “I Know I am Funnier Than” voting. Doug also voted for Ralph and since Amy had immunity, Ralph and Doug had to pick someone to join them in the head-to-head competition. They chose Matt, they said, because he had the least amount of experience. All three had good routines, but by a margin of 3%, Ralph won, so Doug and Matt had to leave. I personally didn’t find Ralph’s set that funny and I hated to see Matt leave. Thank goodness Lavell is still there!
