Last Comic Standing: Ralph Harris Leaves
I figured it might be the end of the road for Ralph and I was right. However, now I am beginning to wonder if any of the remaining four comics can really step up and take the title. I don’t know if they are getting low on material or what, but I just didn’t find any of them sidesplitting funny tonight.
The best was Jon Reep and maybe that is only because he was making fun of folk music and I like folk music. Gerry was okay, Amy was okay, Lavell – who has previously been so, so funny – was okay. I just don’t know if it is them or me, but right now, I’d just as soon see Doug Benson (who did a small set at the beginning of the show) back.
I honestly don’t know who is going home this week. I thought some of Amy’s jokes were a bit lame, but Gerry’s stuff wasn’t great either. I won’t mention Lavell because he has been one of my favorites. I thought Jon was the funniest (basically by default), but did everyone else?
