Life after American Idol for Bo Bice?
Is there life after “American Idol” for rocker Bo Bice? According to Rolling Stone, things don’t look so good as former “Idol” runners-up have scored mixed track records. Clay Aiken sold more than 3 million CDs, but Justin Guarini and Diana DeGarmo (who?) have fallen off the radar.
At least one “Idol” expert, judge Simon Cowell, offered a significantly discouraging perspective. “When you go on ‘American Idol,’ you’ve sold your soul to a point,” he said. “If you try to revert back to being a rocker, the audience might say, ‘I don’t believe you anymore.’ ”
