Manhunters: Jose Soto
The Manhunters were looking for Jose Soto, a Columbian doctor who killed his wife in 1993. Because Soto was a personal physician to a drug cartel, the trial was corrupt and Soto was set free. However, a new magistrate in Columbia convicted him of the murder and he was sentenced to 28 years. He had moved to the U.S. after being freed and an informant told the team that Soto was in New Jersey.
However, the team needed to do a discreet locate, then inform the Columbian officials if he was found. At that point, they would decide whether to issue a warrant or not. The team sent Roxy into a medical facility where they thought he worked, but no such luck. Michy and Roxy staked out an address of a townhouse in a nice neighborhood.
No one turned up the first night, but they watched the house the next day. They saw a guy in the window and were certain it was him. Roxy got video of it and the team left. They came back to set up at the house. He leaves the house and walks to a nearby park. The team follows him, but there is a high school graduation going on, which messes them up briefly. Michy is out walking behind him, but backed off because she thought he saw her and they all lose site of him.
They meet at the tennis court and luckily, they spot him again. They finally get the go-ahead for the arrest and nab him. For a bad guy, he gave up really quickly. He said he had no idea what they wanted with him. Dr. Soto was extradited to Columbia.
