Manhunters: Looking for a Fugitive from Greece
The Manhunters were looking for the #1 fugitive from Greece – Dimitrios Skaftouros. He was wanted for kidnapping and murder of a minor and had been on the lam for 18 years. Interpol gave them a tip that he might be in working as a cook in New York City. The Manhunters had his fingerprints (they print everyone in Greece when they turn 18), but the team had to wait on a warrant for his arrest to come in.
The staked out the restaurant, but didn’t see him. They had his home address and Rasheen “Pep” Peppers was stationed outside. He spotted Skaftouros on the balcony of the home cooking. When Skaftrouros left the house, not only were there three cars of Manhunters following him, but there was also an eye in the sky – a helicopter.
They finally got the warrant right as he left the house, so when he parked outside the restaurant, they apprehended him. He seemed confused as to whom he was, but Lenny checked his fingerprints and said he was the guy. He is currently awaiting extradition to Greece.
