Manhunters: Miguel Liriano and Hector Sosa
The Manhunters team was looking for Mighel Liriano and Hector Sosa. These guys were wanted for armed robbery, carjacking, and for questioning of a shooting. One of them fired shots at Sosa’s sister and her boyfriend, so these were not nice guys.
The team got a tip that they might be in the Bronx. They went to the house and no one seemed to know where the pair was. Michy gave them her number and told them to call her if anyone “remembered” anything. She got a call from the house from a cousin saying that Liriano has just called and knew the police were looking for him, so apparently someone tipped them off.
Word came from upstate New York that the pair might have been involved in credit card fraud at a convenience store. But, the surveillance photos from Groversville, NY proved inconclusive. Michy was sent up there alone to check things out.
They got a call on two separate house address were the suspects might be, but neither panned out. After Michy and the local police returned to the office to figure out what to do next, they got a call that the pair were at a house only a few minutes away.
They went over there and Michy captured them while they were sleeping. Liriano had to serve 9 months in prison for probation violation and is awaiting trial for the other charges. Sosa pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit robbery and is now serving 3 years in state prison.
