Manhunters: Quadri Garnes
The Manhunters were tasked with finding Quadri Garnes, who was wanted for parole violation and failing to register as a sex offender. Garnes was not a nice guy – he had prior felony convictions which included attempted rape, robbery, and weapons possession. Oh yeah, he liked to fight cops too.
The team had addresses for his mom and grandmother in Brooklyn, so they simultaneously hit both houses. Garnes wasn’t at either one, but they did find a girlfriend’s address. They went to the apartment address given, but the person who answered the door told the team it was a duplex apartment – on two different floors. After securing all exits, they found out that the girlfriend’s name was misspelled in the database and they were in the wrong location.
They went to the correct address for the girlfriend and apprehended him. He tried to put up a fight and they ended up cuffing his feet. He served 90 days for parole violation and was sentenced to 3 years and 5 months of supervised parole.
