Marissa is fired on an over-hyped Apprentice
I have many comments about tonight’s Apprentice. Let me begin:
First, where was the sex? From the commercials and promos that NBC was playing for tonight’s show we got the hazy vision of a woman in a bikini and a man caressing her poolside. I was expecting some Real World type of action tonight. All we got was Tim playing the piano and Nicole saying “yeah, I’m impressed” and indicating she might have some interest in him. BORING!
Second, what was the mistake that ticked Trump off so much? I don’t recall anything in tonight’s show being such a major mistake that it sent The Donald into a tither. Yet again NBC trying to over hype the show to get us to watch. What it is I hear in the background? Could it be the sound of the show falling in the Nielsen ratings?
Next, Trump says something at the end of the show that I found interesting. After Marissa leaves the boardroom upon her termination, Trump said that he liked her spirit but everyone on her team wanted her to go and he really had no choice. Since when does Donald Trump listen to anyone else? He’s a business guru and part of the reason he’s where he is today is by trusting his own instincts and forgetting what other people have to say about it.
Finally, what in the world do bees have to do with the next task? I’m telling you right now that there isn’t enough money in the world or any job in the world worth having me work that closely with those insects. Forget it. I’d quit.
Finally Arrow gets a win and can live the high life, while the pampered contestants on Kinetic have to live outside. I hope Arrow doesn’t leave the mansion in the same condition as the outdoor camp site; but then again I’m sure the mansion has a cleaning staff while Tent City is on their own. As mentioned before, Marissa is fired. She was in charge of marketing. While the chicken idea was not the greatest, it was vetoed by the team and Marissa never came up with any alternate plans. The team’s poor marketing strategy was the major reason for the loss and for Marissa’s firing.

Couldn’t agree with you more. From the misleading hype and romance to the The Donald’s decision and mostly the looks of a cancelled show.
If I had it my way, I’d skip all the unnecessary drama and go straight to the board room each show so I can finally find out who wins.
I’ll add one more comment about this show. If they can afford to get Andrea Bocelli to play and that awesome fireworks display, why can’t they afford to change Ivanka during the commercial breaks? A multi-billion dollar family and they show the same recording every commercial break to vote who goes to tent city..? And what’s that about… ten city? They want us to vote who gets sent to tent city? Hello, the whole team goes! Shouldn’t we be voting who gets fired?
I see this show bombing real soon. That’s what happens when you let The Donal become the Executive Producer.
