Martin is fired on The Apprentice LA first episode
Trump moves to LA for the newest season of The Apprentice, and it seems as if he is pulling out all the stops to keep the show interesting and fresh. What’s new this season? The losers get to live in tents having to take care of all their needs outside without electricity, air conditioning and bathrooms while the winning team gets to live in a palatial mansion (as described by a few contestants, the haves versus the have nots). The winning project manager will automatically be project manager until he/she loses a task. Finally, the winning project manager will join Trump and Ivanka in the board room to help decide who gets fired.
The task this week was to run a car wash. The winning team would be the one that makes the most money. I didn’t get the names of the teams – I’ll just call them Frank’s team and Heidi’s team. Frank and Heidi got picked as project managers because they took the lead in putting up the first tent in “tent city”, but this was before they knew they would be living in it. Heidi’s team wins by less than $100, but it didn’t matter to Trump – losing is losing.
The board room got nasty between Martin and Frank. Frank said some stupid things, like calling his opponent “brilliant” and then back pedals when Trump tells him it’s foolish to speak well of your opponents. Ivanka tells Martin that he isn’t a fit with the company. Trump fires Martin because he doesn’t think he can do the nitty gritty work that would be required in the Trump organization. Martin tells Trump he makes a bad decision – Trump says it’s a tough decision but that he’d be more successful in his life as a lawyer or professor than as his Apprentice.
When I started thinking about it I think this Tent City approach is going to be interesting. I know I’d hate to have to live in such primitive conditions and would do whatever is necessary to make sure I won the next week. I think the living as a “have not” will motivate the contestants more than living in luxury. All the contestants are successful in their chosen fields and careers. I bet they have comfortable living conditions and lives. Living in a tent isn’t going to go over that well.
I wondered if The Apprentice would still be interesting this season – I think it is going to keep on being great.

I do not think Martin should have been fired. Any confidence shown by Black men outside of physical sports is interpreted as a threat. I feel more Black men should have Martin’s confidence and guile but not exactly like him. He could have be more tactful in how he handled the situation. There will never be a Black apprentice because the qualities needed to win will never be promoted by white men. Black men and white men are arch/mortal enemies. White men know this and the sooner we realized this the better off we will be. The world clearly is against the Black race. I think we should centralize this fact and take the world head on. Black people are numerous and powerful but evil forces have for a long time convinced most of us that we are what you see today. From the billions in Africa to the millions in the Americas and Europe, and the many on all across the world. It is time we united and compete on the field and in the board room. Our stopping block is our enemies propaganda. White men will never have the ***** to face Black men on a even playing field, therefore, it is important we do all we can to achieve our goals. Much like Iran, we should ignore white men and strengthen ourselves, who cares if they cry about it or threaten us with their greatest skill, i.e. Death.
Secondly, it was Frank that dropped the ball. If they would have deployed the the larger signs to attract more customers they might have won. The fliers were a BIG waste of time. Did they ever use them? Martin was one weak salesman I admit but he sold. You had two ‘good’ salesmen and one weaker one, not all that uncommon in sales. The only lost by $60.00 and time would have made the difference. The time lost on a silly fliers. I really don’t understand why Black people try so hard to fit in with greedy parasites. If you can not join them, BEAT THEM. As the great Malcolm x once expressed, “White mans heaven is a Black mans hell.” This will never change, thinking so is futile.
