Million Dollar Listing: Chad and Josh Continue to Battle
This week, Chad was helping a family friend, Josh was looking for an impossibly large amount of land, and Madison had a large piece of land to sell. Chad was helping Judith get her dream home in Malibu Colony. She had lost it 2 years ago by not acting quickly and the home now costs more than $2 million more. There were problems – no central air! – but eventually, Judith and the seller worked out a deal and Judith got her house. Chad got a $167,375 commission.
Madison had his first double digit listing – a piece of land listed at $15 million. But it turned out to be more of a headache than anything. It had a slab built on it, which turned some people off, including Josh’s buyer Miguel. Some agents questioned the price and pointed out the view was better from the driveway then from the house. Madison met with Lauren to blow off a little steam, but to also get over the possibility of a relationship with her. Relationship? She’s had a boyfriend for 3 years – get over it already Madison!
All the guys were invited to a photo shoot/interview for Malibu Beach magazine. Chad brought up the previous incident about not letting Josh in the property and I thought those two were going to throw down right in front of the interviewer! Madison was both astonished and slightly embarrassed for both of them looking so unprofessional. Josh was looking for a huge piece of land for Miguel to build a huge house on. Josh thought it was impossible, but by the end of the show, he had found a piece of $30 million dollar land that was just down the street from Miguel. He was even familiar with the piece of land, so he was very happy.
