Millionaire Matchmaker: Daniel and Chris
This week on “Millionaire Matchmaker,” the clients were Daniel and Chris.
Daniel, a 45 year old artist, made Patti laugh, but ticked her off with his name-dropping. She called him a bragasaurus. Chris, a 39 year old, was just barely a millionaire, but Patti thought he was cute. But, then he said he was not going to be force fed the “date girls your own age” line. Has he ever seen Patti’s show? Patti wasn’t happy to be dealing with an ageist again.
She went to meet Chris. Ah, he reads books to kids, but then he writes them. She was not impressed with his condo. Patti told him he couldn’t ask anyone at the mixer their age. She plans to stock the mixer with girls in their thirties. She went to visit “fame whore” Daniel and told him not to name-drop at the mixer.
Patti did her cattle call for the mixer, telling one girl her hair was fried, one that she was too business looking, one that her jewelry had to go, etc. Patti makes Chris meet with Mitch, a therapist. He tried to talk to him about the age problem. He says he wants a 20-something because they are more active. Mitch sees it as a “story.”
At the mixer, Daniel chose Jessica and Lauren for the mini-date while Chris chose Yvonne and Nicolina. Daniel felt a chemistry with Lauren, so they went on a dinner date. He was SO sweet – he even gifted her with a painting of herself. Although Patti didn’t like it, Chris took Yvonne surfing then to dinner. They both loved it and seemed to have a great time.
When Patti checked up on the guys, Daniel tired ti play it cool about Lauren, but he really liked her and the two are still dating. Chris, on the other hand, seemed really sweet during the date, but the age thing got to him I guess. He admitted friendship with Yvonne, but they never had a second date.
