Millionaire Matchmaker: Patti Makes a Match!

I wasn’t really impressed with the first episode. There was not even a hint of a love connection, but Patti did better this time. The men in question were Jeff, who owned a software company, but dressed like an aging rock star and Julien, who looked and acted older than his 28 years.

When Patti met Jeff, he tried to hit on her, but he also tried to hit on the fashion consultant she brought in. He seemed like a nice enough guy and looked okay after he got rid of the landing strip. He had a nice condo in Brentwood that thankfully had no stripper pole! From the pool of girls, he chose Tara and Corrine. We didn’t really see much interaction with Corrine, but he and Tara really seemed to hit it off. They had a wonderful first date. He flew her to a castle winery and she said it felt like a fairytale. The only thing Jeff did wrong was not ask Tara for a second date at the end of the first one. Patti chastised him for it and he finally called Tara. The two are now seeing each other.

Julien was another matter completely. He lived like a college student with his buddies in the Pasadena ghetto. Patti was horrified when she saw his house, knowing he had two million dollar condos. He was just odd, maybe it was because he was born and raised in Paris. He just kept answering questions with more questions like he was a counselor. Patti even set Chelsea up with him for a mini date and she was not interested. She had Dr. Shannon Fox, a relationship expert, meet with Julien (he was 45 minutes late). She told him to open up more and not answer questions with questions. The date with Jacqueline, the girl he chose seemed very painful at first. Of course, editing can do anything, but Jacqueline said she felt like she was there to learn about food, not him. He seemed to have more rapport with the French waiter than his date, but he finally took Dr. Fox’s advise and opened up a bit. However, when he wanted a second date, Jacqueline said no. Patti said she would work with him, but first, he had to find a new home!
