Mom’s summary of week 4
You can tell just by the attitude of the stars, that this competition is getting serious. The samba was a major stretch for both Rachel and John, with neither looking their best although of the two John was better. The samba was much more suited to the younger dancers, Kelly and Joey. Finally, some good words for Kelly from the judges – will wonders never cease. I particularly enjoyed the group waltz; perhaps if the camera work were better you could get more out of it, but it was great to compare and contrast all at once. My question is this: Is Joey getting ready for Skating With The Stars? The last center move he and Ashley used was more in tune with pairs figure skating than ballroom dancing. Once again the judges were completely enthralled with Rachel Hunter. She presents an elegant picture, and displayed an enormous amount of grace when she went to the judges and thanked them after she and her parner were eliminated. Next week should be very interesting!
