Muna is “fired like a dog” tonight on The Apprentice LA
Trump makes a comment to start off the show that was very puzzling to me. He said that (as he always does) the losing team will go to the boardroom. But then he says “where someone will be fired like a dog.” What does he mean? I’ve never heard that expression in my life. Maybe Trump is mixing metaphors, or perhaps he’s creating his own.
Anyway, tonight’s show had the teams creating a 45 second webisode for a new Soft Scrub product. I wish that there was some money included in the budgets for professional actors, because with the exception of Heidi all of the candidates were pretty poor actors. And the choice of Muna as an actress? I don’t think her accent was the issue at all. I just think that watching Muna on the show makes one think that her strengths might not lie in acting. Just my opinion.
Arrow wins the task and gets a private audience with Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger. I guess we needed the inspirational, touchy feely kind of moments on the show and words of wisdom like “pain is temporary, while a movie is forever” or something like that.
Tonight’s boardroom was really interesting. For some smart and professional women, Angela and Heidi had difficulty in answering Trump when asked who is the stronger candidate, Kristine or Muna. Heidi especially. It just seemed like she was afraid to name one person over another because she wanted to stay on good terms with the person who was not fired tonight. It took balls for Muna to come out and ask Heidi if she would take her as a team member, what Trump called a risky move. Unfortunately for Muna, Heidi says she’d rather have Kristine. The answer to that question was the kiss of death, and like a dog Muna was fired tonight.
