My Old Kentucky Home
…which is where I thought David and Mary were headed this week on the Amazing Race – back to Kentucky! The teams were leaving Vietnam for Chennai, India. Everyone thought the first flight got into India at noon, but closer investigation showed flights getting in earlier, so the teams fought to get the earliest flight. But David and Mary were the last to board.
The Barbies proved they were tough, arriving first and refusing to let the cabbie talk to Peter and Sarah. The Detour was wild things or wild rice. The rice sounded easier, but it wasn’t. Filling in all those little shapes with the right colors – which Tyler and James screwed up – was hard! I am so tired of Peter yelling at Sarah. I wish for once she’d just slap him already – God knows he deserves it! But, they did come in first after Peter passed the roadblock – attending driving school and driving the streets of India. For first place, they won a home gym system.
David and Mary came in last, but were happy to hear it was a non-elimination leg. They didn’t have money or possessions taken away, however, they need to finish first next leg on the Amazing Race or they will suffer a 30-minute penalty. Better get that old home ready!
