My summary of week 4 of Dancing with the Stars
I’ve enjoyed Dancing with the Stars since the first show, and I think every time I watch it I enjoy it even more. I thought for the most part the dancers did a good job. I didn’t care for Rachel and Jonathan’s “Austin Powers” Samba, but the judges did seem to like it. Since Rachel was voted off I guess her popularity was more with the judges than with the viewers.
The group dance was an interesting twist. I’m surprised that two judges agreed that John and Charlotte did the best Viennese waltz. I thought it was hard to watch all the couples, at least to watch them equally so I could fairly say who was the best couple of the dance.
Next week is going to get interesting. There’s only one female celebrity left. Does that mean that the male celebrities have it easier? If and when they do the Paso Doble then the male celebrities will certainly have a harder time of it.
Right now my opinion is that one of the male celebrities will be voted off next week. It would be a more interesting final if you have one male and one female celebrity competing. However, it would probably be more accurate to have the two men competing against each other. I haven’t heard how the winner will be determined. Will it be based only on the votes of week 5 and the scores of week 5 and week 6, or will it be done some other way?
