New Season of Original Video Programming on Entertainment Weekly
Entertainment Weekly is offering new weekly original video programming on its web site. EW will begin covering the Sundance Film Festival on January 16th in the Hollywood Insider blog. Also on January 16th, “Battlestar Galactica” fans can get cast interviews which will offer a look into the final season as well as info about the props auction on January 17th and 18th.
“Totally Lost,” which debut on January 28th, will offer expert commentary, exclusive clips, previews, cast and creator interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage for “Lost” fans. The week of January 29 – 23, there will be a new “Totally Lost” episodes airing each day in anticipation of the fifth season premiere. Look for an interview with the “Lost” producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. The videos, hosted by EW’s Jeff “Doc” Jensen, will continue on Wednesdays throughout the “Lost” season.
“The Doll Bachelor” is a satirical look at “The Bachelor” featuring dolls acting out the intense competition for the bachelor’s love. New episodes will be posted online every Tuesday in Kristen Baldwin’s recap of “The Bachelor.”
New episodes of “Idolatry,” which in the past has featured interviews with Idol contestants David Cook, David Archuleta, and Michael Johns, premiered on January 16th. The show is hosted by EW “America Idol” expert Michael Slezak. Check out the episodes for Michael’s hilarious recaps and commentary about the latest season of “American Idol.” Multiple episodes of the series will appear throughout the run of the Idol season.
“Ausiello TV” premiered on January 14th with the king of scoop, Michael Ausiello, dishing up the latest gossip. In the past, “Ausiello TV” has had interviews with “30 Rock” star Tina Fey. “The Office” star John Krasinski, and Neil Patrick Harris from “How I Met Your Mother.” The episodes will appear bi-weekly starting January 27th, so stay tuned for more red carpet interviews.
“Survivor Talk”
Starting, February 13th, EW’s “Survivor” gurus Dalton Ross and Josh Wolk will host “Survivor Talk.” The first episode will have impromptu interviews with castoffs as well as a spot by host Jeff Probst. “Survivor Talk” will release new episodes each Friday thought the show’s season.
