New Yore New Yore
Okay, first let me say I am tired of seeing Ian Benardo on reality shows. The first time I saw him on “So You Think You Can Dance,” I was mildly amused. Now I am just annoyed with him. He should be banned from reality shows!
Now, that that has been said, here’s my thought for the New York auditions:
Sarah the crying girl annoyed me
The Greek woman was just weird
The BFFs were mildly annoying as well
Cliffton, the sound effects dude, should try out for Police Academy 25 or whatever number they are on – Did he seriously say he got shot down like an F-150? Isn’t that a Ford truck?
Jenry didn’t look 16 and had Paula swooning
Nakia went from okay to bad
The American Idol soldier got on my nerves a bit. She was too…slinky or something. I don’t think she will make it far.
Rachel was odd, but kinda neat. I like when she said she could sing anything – and proved it!
Chris – they compared him to Justin Timberlake, but I found him to be an Elliott rip off – right down to the song.
Nicholas – was glad to see him back. Hope he can remember the words to the songs this year.
Now, I’d like to address the totally crazy people with no shame. Ashanti should just take their advice and try Broadway. The pleading was just pathetic! How can you put your whole life and base your whole worth on a reality show? Seriously! She was nice looking and could sing okay – find something to do with your life other than count on American Idol to complete you!
And now on to Crazy Sarah. What was that all about? I wish Simon had been there! The “I can be the next American Idol because I’ve never sang before and you can teach me” thing was stupid and pathetic. She was just weird – the “I’m unique – woohoo.” No hon, you are just strange. I was a little concerned when she said they would regret it. It sounded a bit like a threat.
Then to finish up, there was Crazy Isadora, the clairvoyant. If she can see into the future, she should have known the judges were going to say “Uh, no.” And she just wouldn’t stop. It was odd – the dancing and tambourine and singing – just odd.
But, 35 people were talented enough to go to Hollywood, so in the end, New York was a success.
