No One is Safe Anymore
There were a lot of touching performances last night and the competition is getting fiercer, with only a few points separating most of the dancers. I normally do not care much for the filler acts, but tonight, I was glad to see Los Lonely Boys perform. We saw Tysonia, the home viewer, do the samba for real samba dancers. I had no idea they wore so little clothing!
The judges picked Willa’s performance for the encore. She was beautiful last night and the dance was so elegant. I was a bit surprised at the first two dancers who were safe. The almost-perfect-score Mario was not a surprise, but I was a bit surprised to hear Jerry’s name called second. But his waltz was good and it was such a touching story about his daughter.
I loved the bit about fake tans, with Monique even getting in on it. And the bit about don’t get between the guys and mirrors was funny too! The next two dancers who were announced as safe were Emmitt (go big man!) and Willa. The judges said they were shocked to see Joey, Sara, Monique, and Vivica left. They were even more shocked it seemed when Joey and Sara were told they were safe, leaving Monique and Vivica as the bottom two. Poor Monique looked like she was about to pass out as it was announced the Vivica was eliminated. The whole thing is pretty scary because Vivica had good scores every week, so it looks like truly no one is safe!
Next week – the rumba and samba!
