Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is sometimes referred to as the “Queen of Reality Television” and sometimes even “The Most Hated Woman in America.”  She got her start when she appeared on “The Apprentice” in 2004.  This season, she gets a second shot with “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Omaroseonee O. Manigault was born on February 15, 1974 in Youngstown, Ohio.  She graduated from Raven High school.  She received a B.A. in Radio and TV Broadcast Journalism from Central State Univeristy in Ohio.  She received a M.A. in Communication Studies from Howard University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Communication Studies there.  Omarosa served as a political appointee for the Clinton administration.

Omarosa caused a stir in episode two of “The Apprentice” when she claimed fellow contestant Ereka Vitrini called her the n-word.  Ereka denied the claim and even took a lie detector test to prove she did not use the word.  The two got in a fight in episode three with Katrina finally stepping in to try to calm them.  Jessie was fired in episode six for not defending herself against insults hurled by Omarosa.  Finally, in episode nine, Omarosa was fired for giving too many excuses.  Finalist Kwame Jackson chose Omarosa to be on his team, but Trump argued that he would not be able to control her.  With just her appearance on “The Apprentice,” Omarosa had let the viewing public know that she was bold, outspoken, and a demanding diva to be dealt with.

Despite her brash attitude, Omarosa continued to be a popular draw on television.  She has appeared on many talk shows (“Larry King Live,” “The View,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” and “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee”) and made a guest appearance on the soap opera “Passions.”  She appeared as a special guest on “I Love New York” where she helped judge the potential earning power of the male contestants.  She appeared as part of the mob in the NBC game show “1 vs. 100,” remaining in the mob until almost the final question.  She was even featured in a Burger King commercial.

In 2005, Omarosa gave reality television another shot when she appeared in the all-star episode of “Fear Factor.”  She was eliminated after the third stunt, but not before conflicting with Nikki McKibbin.  She also appeared in the fifth season of “The Surreal Life” on VH1, where she had many run-ins with model Janice Dickinson.  She was a sideline reporter for “Battle of the Network Reality Stars,” which aired on Bravo.  A survey conducted by TV Guide in 2005 showed Omarosa to be the most reviled reality show contestant of all time.

Omarosa married Aaron Stallworth in May 2000, but the two divorced in 2005.
