P. Diddy’s Star Maker – new reality program on MTV premiers Sunday, August 16th at 10:00 pm ET
Sean “Diddy” Combs is at it again – at least when it comes to reality television programming on MTV. He is working with Emmy award winning producer Mark Burnett in creating a new series called “P. Diddy’s Star Maker.” The ten episode series is set to premier on Sunday, August 16th at 10:00 pm (right after the other great MTV reality program America’s Best Dance Crew).
Each week contestants will have the opportunity to work with music industry professionals as they vie for the ultimate prize – an exclusive recording contract from Bad Boy Records and a career launch supervised by Diddy. Click here to view the trailer from this new reality program.

Diddy has hand picked several top music industry professionals to help teach, coach, test and ultimately create the world’s next global music superstar. These industry powerhouses include Grammy award winning songwriter Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins; Tamara Conniff, the first female editor in chief for Billboard Magazine; the favorite choreographer from the MTV show Making the Band Laurie Ann Gibson; Kimberly Caldwell, former American Idol contestant and signer, actress and television personality (having worked as an entertainment correspondent for TV Guide Network); manager Johnny Wright (a legendary star maker who has worked with some of the most successful music acts of all time including Janet Jackson, New Kids on the Block, and the Jonas Brothers.

Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins seems to be prejudice against his own race. I have watched week after week and I realize that there is something badly wrong with him. Now if it is that Diddy is now looking for some white acts he should just say that and not tear down some great black young talents.
The song made to Jenkins song titled ‘Make A Way’ was so much better than the other team’s song it was obvious he wanted the other teams horrible song to be better.

There he goes again that crazy messed-up Jenkins saying that Omataya (Big Sexy) wasn’t at his best. He did a fantastic job.

I have to agree with Lynn, Jenkins seems to be on a mission – if this was the reason for the show and his trying to act it out, his failing because it is so obvious. Why produce the show if they have a hidden ajenda. Shame on them – but that shows the mentality of people today. Do you really thing that the general public are so STUPID!!!!!!

I have a hard time believeing that ther person who wrote this is even a teacher, and if they are their ignorance and lack of abilty to get results from his students speaks very poorly of his own ability. ,
