Priscilla eliminated from Dancing With The Stars: No surprises there
Well, actually there was one surprise….Kristi and Mark were the judges choice to perform, and for the past two shows the ones chosen were the ones eliminated. Not tonight. I think they will be in it until the finals.
Priscilla Presley was, to the surprise of no one, the one dropped from the show tonight. The woman did a monumental job lasting this long. Folks, she’s over 60 and ballroom dancing at this level is an under 60 game. Kudos to her and to Louie for bringing out the best performances from her.
Once again ABC forces the viewers to watch an hour when 15 minutes would suffice. At least there were some bright spots in that hour. The group samba performed to a street band whose name I could not figure out was great. The audience gave them a thunderous applause. And the dance performed to James Blunt’s falsetto performance was excellent. The most exciting part of the evening was the under ten competition. While Jaryd (look out Maxim) and Cara won with their cha cha, Dimitry and Michele (look out Edyta!) did a top notch jive. These junior dancers show that ballroom dancing is alive and well. Hey, ABC, how about televising some of the professional competitions?
