Project Runway: Logan is Out
There were only two guys left on “Project Runway” – Christopher and Logan. That is a bit unusual and in my opinion, both were a bit weaker than at least three of the remaining girls. The elimination challenge this week was for the contestants to create a companion piece for one of their previous outfits that had won a challenge.
Some of the girls are getting a bit catty, but Althea saying that she thinks Carol Hannah is a one trick pony because she only does dresses. Then Althea took offense that Logan was doing a collar out of zippers – something she had previously done. She and Irina sat and talked about him, but at the judge’s table, it was Irina that went after Althea. Irina did an oversized sweater and so did Althea. When Heidi asked who did it first, the claws came out as Irina said there had been a lot of resemblance in the workroom lately. Althea was upset by that – especially in front of the judges.
The top three were Irina (I love her designs – hate her attitude), Carol Hannah (okay, so she can only do dresses, but they are cute!), and Althea (of her outfit, Heidi said, “I want it!”). Nina thought Irina’s dress looked cheap and although all the other judges loved it that may be the reason Althea was named the winner.
The bottom three were Christopher (guest judge Nick Verreos said there was a pretty dress in there somewhere), Logan (Nina said it looked like something a fashion student would make), and Gordana (the judge’s words “looks like an office worker in Warsaw, Poland” keeps ringing in my head). Christopher was told he was safe, so it must have been some relief to not be in the bottom two for him. Although Gordana has been on the bottom and I personally thought the outfit was terrible, Logan’s was worse, so the hot young designer was sent home.
