Project Runway: Nicolas is Out
The “Project Runway” challenge this week was for the contestants to draw inspiration from locations as Michael Kors does. They had seven location photos from which to choose. Carol Hannah picked Palm Beach, Nicolas picked Greece, Althea picked St. Tropaz, Gordana picked New York City, Irina picked Aspen, Christopher picked Santa Fe, and Logan got stuck with Hollywood. They had a $150 budget and had to finish by that night.
I loved Irina’s outfit and so did the judges. I loved the cut out in the back of the sweater and it seemed to scream Aspen. The judges, including guest judge Milla Jovovich, also liked Gordana’s dress, especially the neckline. Also in the top three was Carol Hannah, with her beachy dress that Michael Kors said could be casual or dressy. Irina ended up winning the challenge.
The bottom three was Christopher (, Logan, and Nicolas. After Logan was told he could leave, it was between Nicolas and Christopher. I just felt it was Christopher’s time to go, but it was Nicolas that was eliminated. Christopher really needs to step it up – he’s been on the bottom too many times now. The look on Nicolas’ face was just blank. Milla looked like she wanted to cry when Nicolas was sent packing.
