Project Runway: Shirin is Out
The “Project Runway” challenge was to create a Bob Mackie outfit for Christina Aguilera to wear on stage. Heidi told the group that while Gordana had immunity this week, there wouldn’t be any more immunity for the rest of the competition. Heidi told Gordana it was a good thing she had immunity because her outfit could have sent her home.
Someone said that Carol Hannah picked “Halloween fabric” – it may have been Irina since as Nicolas said, she is a good designer, but a bitch. However, Carol Hannah had the last laugh as she won this competition. Guest judge Christina Aguilera said Carol Hannah did a really good job, Bob Mackie loved the textures, and Nina Garcia called it glamorous. The judges also liked the outfits of Althea and Nicolas, who was thrilled to be showing his outfit to Bob Mackie. The bottom three were Logan (Christina said it had a cave woman look), Shirin (Heidi called it an upscale Halloween witch dress), and Christopher (which the judges called a Lady Marmalade rehash look).
Logan was told he was safe and it was between Christopher and Shirin. Christopher once again escaped elimination as Shirin was sent home.
