Rah! Paula Abdul’s Cheerleading Bowl Airs January 3 on MTV
Paula Abdul got her start as a Los Angeles Laker Girl and she is returning to her roots as the host and coach of “Rah! Paula Abdul’s Cheerleading Bowl,” which airs on January 3 at 12 pm ET on MTV.
This 90 minute special features the cheerleading squads of the University of Arizona, University of Hawaii, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, University of Montana, and the University of Miami at Ohio as they compete in New York City for the ultimate cheerleading title.
The teams have to bring their best creativity as well as athletic moves and teamwork to impress judges Abdul, Hi-Hat (a choreographer for Bring It On and Step Up 2: The Streets), Scott Bouchard (head coach for UMass Dartmouth), and Brenna Klinger (a dancer for the NY Jets).
The winners of the competition get a spread in American Cheerleader Magazine and a trip to the MTV’s Spring Break 2009.

when will it air in Canada? Example, Pam’s Anderson’s reality-show aired not on the Sunday; but on the Tuesday or Wednesday (a few days later) in Canada–if on MTV; would be on MuchMusic channel? I saw her on Leno or Letterman introducing the series; and her Idol-stalker…
