Real Housewives of New Jersey: Danielle Confronts Dina
This was the season finale of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and it was an explosive one. Teresa showed her new museum house (well, that’s what it looked like!) off to Dina and decided to have a housewarming party. The only problem was the house wasn’t fully furnished, so the party was going to be at Lu Nello and she decided to invite Danielle. Danielle showed her girls pics of her modeling days. The photos were blurred…did they include nudity? Who can say with Danielle, who I think is way too open with her daughters! Danielle admitted that three things in the book were true – she did strip, she was arrested, and she did change her name.
Jacqueline’s parents showed up from Vegas and she and Chris decided to give Ashley the Jeep, on a few conditions. It was hers to drive, but still belonged to Chris. She would have to earn her way to ownership by keeping up her grades and keeping down her attitude.
Dina decided to clean out Lexi’s stuff animals. I loved when she said underneath the bed was like a clown car because Lexi kept pulling out more and more animals. When she saw Lexi hording candy in a drawer, she knew making the decision to stay home was a good one, so she is now retired and “just a housewife.”
Caroline got a German Sheppard for protection, but if you ask me, Caroline is German Sheppard enough. At the dinner party, Danielle made her fashionably late entrance. After a bit of chit-chat, Teresa tried to lighten the mood by talking about her new bubbies (which were tastefully done) and Joe’s sexual appetite. Everyone was rolling with laughter when Danielle plots “Cop Without a Badge” on the table. What the heck? Oh well, this is the finale.
The laughter stopped immediately and Danielle started in. Dina kept trying to interrupt her, but Caroline tried to play mommy and make everyone give Danielle her change to speak. Danielle said there were two truths in the book – that she was arrest and changed her name. Wait, I thought there were three truths? What about the stripping? She didn’t mention that, but Teresa did. When she asked a question, Danielle lit into her and Teresa overthrew the table, calling her a “bitch” and a “whore.” Caroline tried to take responsibility for everything, saying it was her, not Dina that took the book to the hair salon, but Danielle knew the truth. Jacqueline sat quiet for the longest until Dina asked her to say who it was that brought the book up there. Jacqueline felt torn between her family and Danielle, but finally said it was Dina, which resulted in arguing between the sister-in-laws and Jacqueline.
Danielle was happy Jacqueline stood up to her family and did the right thing. Dina finally said she could not stomach Danielle and will just pray for her because she was a little “cuckoo up there.” Chris ended the whole thing by saying they were all acting like fools and Danielle was welcome in his home.
For the aftermath, we found out both Teresa and Jacqueline were pregnant and that Dina is still staying at home. Danielle still thinks she is owed an apology by everyone.
