Real Housewives of New Jersey: More Danielle Drama
After only a couple of weeks, it is easy to see who the mega drama queen of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” is – Danielle. This week, we found out that her daughter Christine thought boyfriend Steve was “weird.” Then, after the couple went to dinner with Teresa, Jacqueline, and their husbands, Danielle wanted to break up with him. I couldn’t really tell if it was because he didn’t tell her stuff like she was beautiful or he loved her enough, if he was too young, or if he didn’t have enough money. Teresa thought it was the lack of money.
Teresa, however, seems to have no lack of money, especially when it comes to paying for photos of Gia. Gia didn’t get chosen to be in the movie with Dwayne Johnson, so Teresa fell on her backup plan – modeling. She paid $800 for pictures only to have the rep at Wilhemina tell her that the photos were too pageant. So what does Teresa do? She takes Gia back to the same people for more photos. The rep said the second set was pageant too, but then was able to find some photos that looked more natural.
Jacqueline continued to have problems with Ashley and school. Now, she has to go to summer school, so Jacqueline took the car away. What does her husband Chris do? He decides after Ashley has a crying breakdown that she needs some self confidence, so he buys her a new Jeep Grand Cherokee. Jacqueline goes to Caroline in hopes that she will talk to Chris, but Caroline refuses. Jacqueline thinks the family feels she isn’t strict enough with Ashley, which may be true, but it must be hard when the husband is pulling stunts like this!
We met another brother this week – Jamie – who is a chef/stylist to “megastars.” Dina was helping him design his dressing/rehearsal room, but she is conflicted between being a mom and housewife or have a career. Maybe the nanny will help her make the decision.
Whether she likes it or not, Lauren is going to go to the Artistic Academy and get a full license, even though Lauren seems grossed out by waxing people.
Danielle had a pamper party at her house, including her plastic surgeon. She invited the usual crowd plus Dina, but Dina got catty and started making snide comments about Danielle. Danielle picks up on it and says that Dina was disrespectful and feels she owes her an apology. She even started to alienate Teresa and Jacqueline when she crashed their play date to whine and moan about Steve, then not really listen to their advice.
