Real Housewives of New Jersey: The Project Ladybug Fundraiser
On “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Jacqueline was dealing with Ashley’s poor grades, attitude, and Dina. Jacqueline was afraid that because she was a working mother when Ashley was little, she didn’t get to spend quality time with her like she did CJ.
Speaking of CJ, Jacqueline threw a lavish birthday party for him with a carnival theme. Danielle used this as a chance to make up with Dina, but how much of a “make up” session it was remains to be seen. Danielle felt like they could be close friends while Dina felt like Danielle wanted to be her.
Teresa’s little girl Gia got an audition call to try out for a part in a movie starring Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), so Teresa got her acting lessons, which she needed. I know she is only six, but a young Drew Barrymore she ain’t. Teresa is still hoping her house will be finished in three weeks, but it still looks pretty undone to me.
Caroline and her husband decided that Lauren needed something to do and suggested beauty school. And by “suggest,” I mean that daddy told her to go visit a friend’s beauty school/spa. However, Lauren wants her own boutique because if she has to style hair, her fingers will hurt.
Danielle seems to be on the verge of being kicked out of her house since her ex has not given her the divorce settlement. She went on a date with 19 years younger Steve (although honestly, he looked her age) and had her girls help her pick out outfits like they were her girlfriends. Jacqueline disapproves of the way Danielle introduces men to her daughters too soon and I kind of agree. At least they didn’t meet Gucci Model! Once Danielle and Steve got to the restaurant, she asked if he wanted to sneak to the bathroom. I think Danielle has been watching too much “Sex and the City” and thinks she is Samantha.
Dina had a Project Ladybug fundraiser, which raises money for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She went into “bitch mode” as the girls called it trying to get everything organized. She put Jacqueline to work, even thought Jacqueline thought she was there as a guest. Jacqueline volunteered Ashley’s help, but she only wanted to change outfits. Jacqueline is also stressed about not being able to get pregnant. She has suffered four miscarriages and went to a specialist, but we never really found out what the problem was (or if he even knew).
Dina got a new assistant, which at first I thought was Chris, but we never found out his name, so honestly, I don’t know who it is. All I know is she is going to ride him into the ground. She asked questions like would he mind buying tampons for her or giving her ugly cat a bath. Poor kid. And there was this weird sexual tension like when she asked if funds were low, would he accept another form of payment? Ew.
The fundraiser was stressful, but everyone worked together and made it a success. They even got to wear afro wigs for the 70s Disco dance party afterwards.
