Real Housewives of Orange County: Lauri and George’s Wedding
This season finale episode dealt with some issues which I will get to in a minute, but the real thrill was Lauri and George’s fairytale wedding. I know this cost George a pretty penny, but it was so beautiful and tasteful. The orchids hanging from the tree with the crystals on the end were just incredible. Josh and his mom made nice, at least for this one day, and he attended her wedding. He also committed to overcoming his drug addiction.
Now, the one person who I think dreams of a fairytale wedding wasn’t there. I guess Lauri didn’t know Quinn well enough to invite her, so it showed her and Billy in Las Vegas. She donned a blond wig for him and became “Roxy,” which he loved. But getting Billy to commit to anything more than what they had (which he called perfect) was like nailing Jello to the wall – it just wasn’t going to happen. So they broke up. Billy seems to be stuck in Little Boy Land, so I am hoping Quinn will find her prince charming and we will soon be seeing her own fairytale wedding. She deserves more than Billy.
We saw Jeana offer to take Donn out to dinner while Vicki went to Paris for two weeks. Is it just me or is the show trying to play up Jeana making a move on Donn? I don’t really think that is the case, but it certainly makes for good gossip.
At the end of the show, there were a few follow-ups – Quinn and Billy didn’t get back together and she and Jared are still just friends, Ryan moved out, but just to his grandmother’s house, former “Housewife” Jo showed up at Jeana’s cocktail party, but no one seemed to take her music career seriously, Lauri found out George isn’t perfect – he snores (were they not sleeping together before the wedding?), Vicki took the second home off the market and a nice elderly couple lives there now, Briana did defy Vicki and go to the Washington concert with Colby, and Tammy is back in her Coto house.
