Real World Hollywood: The Reunion
Well, I had wondered if all the roommates this season of Real World would make it back to the reunion. Everyone showed up except Greg. Apparently, he is still hurt by it all or better than everyone or something like that. No problem – no one seemed to miss him anyhow. Joey was there and is 10 months sober – he looked good and seemed like he was doing well.
They covered all the season highlights – the bar fight where Dave got blindsided, the Sarah and Kimberly vs. Brianna thing, how Sarah was annoying, the random kissing of roommates. Brianna, who had different hair that didn’t make her look like the second coming of Axl Rose anymore, but I still didn’t like it, talked – a lot. I think she got more airtime than anyone did – well, except Will at the end.
That was the big “Ew, this was worth tuning in for moment.” Host Lyndsey, who throughout the night kept getting everyone’s name wrong, asked Will about his hookups, Janelle, the fake tears, and the infamous foursome. Brittini called the whole hookup a mistake and said she is still with her boyfriend. To make it a real Springer moment, they brought out Janelle. She said she found out about the foursome when the episode aired and felt that Will played her. Dave tried to stand up for him, but she said she still felt she was owed an apology. She didn’t get it.
The main thing that I got out of tonight’s show was that alcohol is bad and that the editors really showed things out of context. But it wouldn’t be as interesting if they didn’t, now would it?
