Reality News: “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Pulled from A&E Schedule
You may have heard the telephone conversation between Duane “Dog” Chapman and his son Tucker where Dog repeatedly used the N-word when referring to his son’s black girlfriend. The tape was released to the National Enquirer and posted online last Wednesday. Reportedly, the tape was sold to the Enquirer by Tracy.
While this was meant to be a private conversation, in which Dog says he is not going to lose everything he has worked so hard for, he has indeed done just that. Despite being one of the highest rated shows on the network, A&E has pulled “Dog the Bounty Hunter” from its schedule indefinitely. Reps say the show has not been canceled, but this cannot be good news for Dog. Two advertisers have pulled out from the show despite Dog’s apology. He said “I did not mean to add yet another slap in the face to an entire race of people who have brought so many gifts to this world.” He further went on to say he was ashamed of himself and vowed never to use the word again.
