Reality News: Get Ready for “Dance Machine”
If you cannot get enough of Dancing with the Stars or So You Think You Can Dance, take heed – ABC has ordered episodes of a new dance competition show.
“Dance Machine” will pit amateur dancers against each other for a cash prize. According to Daily Variety, ABC has ordered five episodes of “Dance Machine” and it will begin airing in January. Not much is known about the show, but the casting call notice said you did not have to be classically trained to win. It also went on to say the show was looking for all types of people, from “the cool 21-year-old hip-hop dancer to the sassy salsa-dancing grandma.”
It sounds like it might be interesting. And with no end in sight to the writer’s strike, many networks are hoping to beef up their scheduling with more reality series, so if you are a reality junkie, this may be the season for you!
