Reality News: Get Ready for The Real World Hollywood
This year marks the 20th season of MTV’s “The Real World,” what many consider the original reality television show. The premise is to take seven strangers, put them in a house, and record their interactions. This year, the show will be set in Hollywood and is scheduled to premiere on April 16th.
The normally opulent house the roommates will live in is touted as being the first to be environmentally friendly, including a solar-heated pool, energy star appliances, bamboo flooring, recycled glass counters, and energy efficient lighting.
This is also the first year a roommate was voted into the house by fans. This was done via an online poll. From over 20,000 applicants, Greg Halstead was picked as the seventh roommate. Joining Greg in the house will be Joey, Kimberly, Dave, Sarah, Will, and Brianna.
Rumors are circulating that Greg and Joey left the house early in the season and were later replaced by Nick and Brittini.
