Reality News: MTV Airs New Episodes of True Life
Later this month, MTV will begin airing new episodes of “True Life,” which follows young people through life experiences, giving a first hand account of the things facing young people today.
May 15th is the premiere of “I Have Embarrassing Parents 2,” which will tell the tale of fourteen-year-old Niki who is embarrassed by her mother’s Playboy Playmate look and seventeen-year-old Candy whose parents are professional clowns with eccentric antics that mortify her. Can Niki and Candy survive and thrive despite their parents?
May 22nd is the “I Have Schizophrenia” episode. Schizophrenia is a debilitating mental illness that can cause hallucinations, make you hear voices in your head, and make you feel paranoid. There are two million Americans living with schizophrenia and this episode will follow three young people learning to deal with the disorder as well as offer advice and resources to viewers on how to manage schizophrenia. May 29th will feature “I Live Another Life on the Web.” This episode will deal with three young people who appear one way in real life, but take on a completely different persona in the virtual world of the Internet.
