Reality News: My Dad is Better Than Your Dad Casting Calls
It may not sound like it from the title, but the upcoming NBC competition show “My Dad is Better Than Your Dad” is a family friendly show. It was developed by Mark Burnet Productions (who also produces “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” and “The Apprentice”) and Reveille (who also produces “The Office”).
The show will feature a dad who leads his son or daughter through a series of both mental and physical challenges. The winner will have the opportunity to win money ($50,000) and prizes to help the child’s future. NBC has ordered eight episodes of the show.
Casting calls for “My Dad is Better Than Your Dad” will run from November 17th through December 1st in the following locations:

Children applying for the show must be between the ages of 8 and 13 years old. All participants must be legal residents of the United States and complete an application, which can be found at http://www.nbc.com/casting. You can also apply online if you are unable to attend the Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego casting calls. If you apply online, you must submit a video no longer than five minutes of your and your son or daughter.
