Reality News: Twister Sisters to Premiere Dec 11th
A new WE reality show titled Twister Sisters is set to premiere December 11 at 10/9C. The focus of the show – Peggy Willenberg and Melanie Metz – aren’t really sisters, but they do share an interest in severe weather. They are one of the few all-female storm chasing teams and the show will follow them as they hang out in Tornado Alley, just waiting for a storm to brew.
Peggy grew up in Indiana, so she is no stranger to storms. She has a BS in Chemistry from Purdue University and a post-graduate degree in Meteorology from St. Cloud State University. She lives in Plymouth, Minnesota, but spends the spring with Melanie chasing storms.
Melanie grew up in Arizona and discovered she had a fascination with storms when she was in third grade. She has a BS in Chemistry and Biomedical Science and not only chases the storms to better understand them, but also enjoys photographing the sky during storms as well.
